Cardigan is worked flat in one continuous piece, top-down. Starting chains: 131 for 14 pattern repeats. (To adapt for different sizes, use 9N+5, where N is the number of picot fan pattern repeats for desired size.) Yoke is shaped by increasing from 14 pattern repeats to 18 pattern repeats, as shown in the increase chart, and then to 22 pattern repeats raglan-style.
